Senior Data Scientist

Adxe is a global AI-powered programmatic DSP with bidder clusters deployed across US, APAC, and EU regions. We're looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our growing data science team remotely.

As a data scientist on our ML team, you'll work on CTR prediction models that evaluate millions of bid opportunities per second, directly impacting advertising ROI for our clients.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain our ML training pipeline: ClickHouse → Polars → LightGBM → S3

• Handle massive datasets from our ClickHouse analytics database (bids, impressions, clicks, conversions)

• Conduct experiments around feature engineering and model optimization

• Build per-campaign LightGBM binary classification models for CTR prediction

• Implement Papermill-based notebooks for automated model training workflows

• Analyze bid request features and develop new predictive signals from OpenRTB data

• Monitor model performance and implement retraining strategies

• Research data preprocessing methods, visualizations, and experiment tracking

Required Experience

• 4+ years of experience as a data scientist

• Ad-tech / programmatic advertising / gaming experience – a huge advantage

• Very high proficiency in Python and SQL

• Strong experience with Polars or Pandas for data manipulation

• Proficiency with LightGBM, XGBoost, or similar gradient boosting frameworks

• Strong knowledge of classic ML with solid understanding of mathematical foundations

• Experience with ClickHouse or other columnar analytics databases

• Experience with AWS services (S3, EKS)

• High level of English for daily communication
